We are pleased to confirm that the planner is on-track for delivery in the first few months of 2021. 

The planner will use real-time information from your member record, so you know it is up-to-date and accurate. You'll be able to model different scenarios by amending your retirement age, lump sum and BRASS contributions to see what your retirement benefits could be.

Plus we're adding the option to see the effect on your retirement income if you choose a level-pension option. 

We are also working on a lifestyle calculator, based on the PLSA Retirement Living Standards. This will help you to understand how much you may need in retirement, tailored to meet your specific lifestyle. 

You can then use the planner to get an idea of how close you are to achieving that goal. The Lifestyle Calculator will be ready a little later in 2021, but you can find further information on the PLSA Retirement Living Standards by visiting the Retirement Living Standards website. 

In the meantime, we've added a new section to your account called 'Planning for the future', where all of our guidance tools will be available. You can also find a new video library in this section, with some really useful video clips to help you understand your pension, benefits and options. We hope you'll take a look and please share any feedback you have.
