Help railway families in need this Christmas with the RBF

Dec 15, 2020
2020 has been a testing time for us all this year. So why not have an RBF (Railway Benefit Fund) party to help those in the railway industry who are struggling financially, and worrying about providing for their families?

The RBF (Railway Benefit Fund) supports people who work in the railway industry, and the charity has seen a huge increase in the demand for their services.

According to recent stats, someone reaches out to the RBF for help and guidance every 7 minutes – a level unheard of since the charity began more than 160 years ago.

So what can you do to help? We may not be celebrating Christmas in the same way with family, friends, and colleagues, and the charity's funding depends on the generosity of people as it relies solely on donations and fundraising.

Your 'RBF party'

If your family or work Christmas party isn’t going ahead this year, this could be a great way to have some festive fun while showing your support to help a railway family get the Christmas they deserve.

Sign up for your party pack here that includes a quiz, party ideas including a mocktail recipe, and the story of a family you’ve helped in time for Christmas to show how important your support really is.

What other things can you do to help?

This isn’t just for Christmas – this is a 3-year commitment for your organisation to work together with the charity in ways which benefit your business and staff as well as fundraising for the RBF. You can learn more here.
