Update on pension payments due on 2 January 2026

We are aware that pensioners who were due to receive a pension payment today (2 January 2026) have not yet received it. This payment is now due to be paid into your accounts on Monday 5 January.

We know that many people rely on their pension and understand the concern and frustration this will may cause, so we are very sorry about this. We are urgently investigating what happened.    

Our Helpline is currently receiving a very large volume of calls so unless your call is extremely urgent, we politely ask you not to call at this time as you may not be able to get through. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
