What do we mean by ‘sustainable ownership’?

It’s the approach Railpen’s investment experts use to grow your pension through taking into account the governance and sustainability issues that matter most for financial returns. It’s about helping you meet your retirement goals through thoughtful investing.

The 2024 Review shows how this approach was put into action last year, using real data and examples to bring it to life.

A report shaped by you

The new edition is centred on the topics you’ve told us you care about the most. Your feedback has been a focal point in its production – thank you for sharing your views!

In 2024, you told us you care most about how companies are run. Your top 3 priorities were:

1. Fair pay
2. Reliable and accurate company reporting
3. Making sure company boards can be held to account

You also flagged growing interest in technology risks, especially around cybersecurity and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

We’ve included examples and case studies to show how Railpen has been working on these issues.
